To ensure efficient processing of orders worldwide we operate through a network of trusted distributors. Please see the table below for details of the distributor in your country. Our product pages will automatically link to most appropriate distributor based on the location you are accessing our website from. Orders can be placed directly on the distributors website or by contacting them for quotations or further information. If you cannot find an appropriate distributor or have any other issues placing an order for any of our products please contact us directly.
All of our products are delivered in lyophilized form at ambient temperature. Our recombinant proteins have been stability tested as lyophilized powder and are stable at ambient temperature for at least 2 weeks. If the protein is not to be used immediately then the protein should be stored in lyophilized form at -20 °C for up 12 months.
To reconstitute the protein follow the guidance provided on the certificate of analysis (COA). Once the protein has been reconstituted we recommend storage at 4 °C for up to one week. For longer term storage of protein in solution we recommend aliquoting into smaller vials to avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles and storage at -20 or -80 °C for up to 3 months. To avoid surface adsorption loss and inactivation we strongly recommend that the protein should not be aliquoted in less than 10 μg per vial.
No. All of our products are priced substantially below the typical market price and come with full batch-specific validation. For this reason we do not feel we need to offer free product samples but do guarantee that all products will function as described. Any customers with issues with product quality will be fully refunded.
To obtain a final concentration of 1 mg/ml reconstitute 250 μg vials with 250 μl water and 1.0 mg vials with 1.0 ml water. Solubilize for 30 to 60 minutes at room temperature with occasional gentle mixing. Do not vortex.

Yes. All links on our website contain the most up to date versions of datasheets, safety data sheets (SDS) and certificates of analysis (COA).
All proteins are supplied in PBS pH7.4 (140mM NaCl, 2.7mM KCl, 10mM Na2HPO4, 1.8mM KH2PO4, pH: 7.2-7.4). There are no additional preservatives, excipients, cryoprotectants or carrier proteins. This ensures the proteins are compatible in all assays without the need for extensive dilution or buffer exchange.
As standard, all proteins are supplied in PBS pH7.4 with no additives.
All of our proteins are totally free of animal derived products. All proteins are produced recombinantly using serum free media.
If the protein is stored in accordance with our guidance, the shelf life is up to 12 months from receipt of the product. Our storage guidance is as follows: Lyophilized proteins are stable at ambient temperature for at least 2 weeks. If the protein is not to be used immediately then the protein should be stored in lyophilized form at -20 °C for up 12 months. All products are provided sterile with an endotoxin level of less than 1 EU/mg.
We use the AVI tag system for site specific biotinylation to ensure that proteins are conjugated in the tag region of the product rather than at random sites. This ensures that the biotinylation process has no impact on the biological activity of the protein and also provides the potential advantage of enabling preferential protein orientation in assays.
Yes you can. All our proteins contain an AVI tag and so can be site specifically biotinylated using the BirA biotin-protein ligase. Alternatively the protein could be biotinylated by alternative non-specific methods such as through the use of N-Hydroxysulfosuccinimide (NHS) esters of biotin that react efficiently with surface exposed primary amino groups (-NH2) on the side chain of lysine residues and the N-terminus of the protein.
Yes it can. All our proteins contain a Tobacco Etch Virus (TEV) protease cleavage site prior to the His-tag. A standard TEV cleavage protocol will result in removal of the His tag from the protein, leaving the extracellular domain and AVI tag of the original protein. For clarity on the exact sequence that will remain please refer to the sequence file available to download on each product page.
